The American River College Facilities Master Plan identifies preferred locations for proposed new buildings, modernizations and future open spaces through the year 2035 as well as transportation, parking and utility improvements.

The plan organizes development into four campus "zones" and provides design guidelines for ensuring a cohesive physical character for campus buildings and spaces.

The plan places a spotlight on immediate enhancements, particularly in the realm of new learning spaces dedicated to STEM fields. Simultaneously, it identifies and designs public spaces across the campus, introducing a dynamic Campus Promenade that seamlessly connects various campus areas, supporting a pedestrian and bicycle-centric core.

The new design creates a campus promenade connector between the four zones.

By providing an organized plan for growth, the plan addresses the college’s objectives to enhance its image within the community, strengthen the student experience, and improve connectivity and wayfinding for pedestrians and vehicles.

I wanted to express my appreciation for your effort. I feel you have done a great job in both managing the user group and producing ideas and solutions for American River College.
